BRANDICE PELTIER?

Hello world,

My name is Brandice Peltier (Bran-Diss Pel-Tee-Ay) and I am a tri-state area based performer, but all the world is my stage.

I read somewhere that I should make a list of words to describe who I am as an actor. It only took a few sleepless nights of combing through the dictionary and staring in the mirror while yelling "but who are you, really, Brandice?!" for me to discover myself all over again. (Okay, it wasn't that dramatic of a process) This is what I came up with. 

Power. Intelligence. Vulnerability. Heart.

I am the woman with an air of authority and a commanding presence who (upon first glance) is suspected to have it all and have it all together. But once you dive deeper, you will uncover the endless dreamer, the playful madwoman or maybe the clown.  I am the most serious looking (blame the bone structure) least serious person that you'll probably meet. But, make no mistake, when it comes to the business of acting, I will fight for the character and their objective, come Hell or high water. 

Here are a few more random facts about me, because that's the best way to get to know someone, right?

1. I used to be a professional Muay Thai fighter (that one always impresses the masses.) Also, if you happen to work for Marvel, I still have the skills. Movement and physical fitness are important to me. At this time, I am in the best shape of my life.

2. I am an avid Winnie the Pooh fan (blame my mom) He really has the simplicity and joys of life figured out. Just go with the flow and you'll eventually get to the honey. 

3. I am an abstract figurative painter. I've found that painting gives me a way to express without speaking and it also another from of meditation for me. 

4. I am a full time artist. Which means that I am creative for a living and loving it. I would have it no other way. It also means that my schedule is flexible in order to make auditions, bookings and travel for my career, a top priority.
